MISSION & HISTORY.

Purpose & History:

Warrior Connections, Inc., Founded by Clayton Andrews and Shana Andrews in 2024, addresses the unique needs of Sickle Cell Warriors. Leveraging their personal connection to the disease, the program offers no-cost, quality, mental health services to children and adults, starting at age 10, diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease or those who are full-time caregivers of individuals diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease. Services will be in-person or via telehealth sessions and accessible to residents of Georgia and South Carolina. Warrior Connections aims to bring awareness to potential mental health concerns caused by the trauma of living with the physical, mental, and social challenges of Sickle Cell Disease, and will do so by providing direct mental health services, educational resources, family support, and mentorship.

Mission:

To connect individuals in underserved communities diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease to free quality mental health services and resources.

History:

Our mission with serving the Sickle Cell Community started years ago.

We've always advocated for, supported. and walk beside Sickle Cell Warriors and other individuals who live with a chronic illness in the fight for a better quality of life, healthcare, and the importance of being seen or understood. We are dedicated in continuing our efforts on a higher level while reaching more communities.
